Meet the R&D Cast
Soprano
Currently appearing as Rapunzel in the West End production of Into the Woods, Fiona’s career spans opera and musical theatre, including performances with Scottish Opera and Welsh National Opera.
Mezzo-soprano
Australian mezzo-soprano Chloe Harris has performed with Scottish Opera and Garsington Opera, in repertoire ranging from Mozart and Britten to world premieres.
Baritone
Oskar McCarthy is a baritone and actor whose work spans opera, music theatre and contemporary vocal performance, with a particular interest in creating new work.
Greek chorus / Balkan vocal trio
Vocal trio Alkanna Graeca brings together folk traditions from the Balkans, Mediterranean and Black Sea through polyphonic singing, improvisation and expansive soundscapes.
Bass
Grammy Award-winning New Zealand-Samoan bass Jonathan Lemalu brings an international career spanning opera, concert and recital stages.
